Focusing on gender dynamics in the labor market, this thesis investigates how personal preferences impact labor market success among men and women, as well as within each gender group. It explores whether these preferences contribute to the existing pay gap and examines their stability over time. The research also assesses if preferences remain constant despite labor market influences and whether they affect future labor market outcomes. Through this analysis, the study aims to deepen understanding of the interplay between individual choices and economic success.
