In response to a declared planetary climate emergency, a series of financial measures are introduced, including a 0.5% tax on the global financial system and a 5% contribution from multinational net profits. An 8% tax on hydrocarbons is also implemented, generating $2 trillion annually to fund significant environmental initiatives. These efforts aim to plant 30 billion trees each year for CO2 capture, address environmental disasters, combat hunger and malnutrition, and support global family planning programs to mitigate overpopulation.
