A study on psychoactive substance abuse

It highlights the adverse effects of substance use on individuals, families, and society, emphasizing its classification as a maladaptive behavior with significant health risks. The study also explores the effectiveness of psychological treatments, such as counseling and supportive psychotherapy, in addressing substance abuse issues. Through this research, the aim is to enhance understanding and inform interventions for substance abuse among youth.
