The book investigates the rising trend of multiple simultaneous peace operations (MSPOs) by international organizations in conflict zones, highlighting the factors that foster cooperation among them. It explores both rational-interest explanations, such as resource sharing and conflict complexity, and social-constructivist perspectives, including social learning and cultural similarities.
