Focusing on the verbal phonology and morphology of Ndebele, a Bantu language from Zimbabwe, this study delves into the complexities of verb structure and morpheme concatenation. It presents a descriptive analysis primarily through the lens of Lexical Phonology while incorporating other frameworks like Autosegmental Phonology and Moraic Theory. The work not only addresses theoretical issues but also serves as a significant contribution to the linguistic documentation of Ndebele, providing valuable data and examples for linguists.
