Roundabout is a novel about a woman who has just lost the love of her life. Having met and fallen in love as students, they parted ways for decades, meeting only occasionally, always with the same magnetic attraction. They have come together just five years before his death, and her challenge now is to understand what drew them together, what pushed them apart, and whether he really loved her.
