"Bullseye Breach" is an educational book disguised as an international thriller about a cyber-attack from different points of view. After elements of the Russian mob buy a malicious program to penetrate retail point of sale systems, they work with a huge underground value chain to find and exploit a juicy target of opportunity at Bullseye Stores and steal 40 million customer credit card numbers. Readers meet a few victims, including an immigrant who deserves better and an under-appreciated IT professional who helps an ad-hoc group fight back.
