This book is the story of Bill Walker, a man besieged by his past, without knowing what his past actually contains. Dark secrets lay in the depths of his mind and they are slowly driving him insane. Tragic circumstances arise that force his past into the present, and with aid of former associates, he moves into a whole new world. The new world is actually a shadowy world he existed in many years before, but that had been kept secret from him until now. Bill becomes his old self, a completely different person, and survives the initial tragedy. From there he moves forward to again serve his country in ways and places only his special talents will allow. Although the story and the man are fictional, it still depicts the kind of special hero our country needs in these trying times- As long as our leaders have the fortitude to stand up and fight for us, there will be people like Bill Walker to get the job done.
