En savoir plus sur le livre

Everyone wants a "Mama." If you don't have one, you will be seeking substitutes all of your life. This riveting story comes from a "Mama's" perspective when she was employed at Lathan's Café. The wounded adult children in the café became hers simply because there was an apparent lack of genuine love in their lives. The individuals who worked at Lathan's were gifted with this beautiful woman for almost a decade. For some, she was the only loving mother that they knew. This book is a tribute to them and the time that they spent with "Mama." Charlene Latham was born in Eagle Lake, Texas. She moved to Houston in 1957, where she married James Lathan and became the proud mother of three daughters and one son. She has been a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church since 1960. She went to nursing school at St. Philip Nursing School in San Antonio, Texas, and has worked in the medical field for over thirty years. She writes life changing books and plays in her spare time.
