"Perverse Wonderland" is one womans culture-clashing adventure of moving to Great Britain only to discover her Englishman is a lying, cheating ass who has thrust her into the position of the other woman. She is unable to believe he is not the man of her dreams. As a consequence, her heart and her mind, and most especially her expectations of romance and what she knows about love, gang up on her in her efforts to move on. Part classic heroine and part modern American anti-heroine, she questions everything she thought she knew about love and romance. Ultimately, she uses this worst case scenario to reaffirm her beliefs about life, love, men and herself.
