This is an autobiography about a young African American male growing up on the South Side of Chicago. The author details his experience growing up seeing two different worlds-the legit, hard-working life, along with the fast-paced, drug-dealing street life, and details how this work through a troubled life, and led to his very unjust sentence of 9-45yrs on his very first felony drug conviction. The author details the experience throughout the duration of the incarceration, the lessons learned, and how it prepared him for life on the outside. Self-teaching himself about business, finance, among other topics, the author succeeded in his road to redemption and strives towards telling his story to hopefully have a positive impact, and show people that there is hope even in some of the most challenging situations. This is a must-read for people either going through trials and tribulations now or in the past and gives a real-world example of how you can rise above that and still succeed in your life.
