Men are often granted the privilege of discussing themselves, a notion I find perplexing. I have chosen to utilize this privilege differently by revisiting my thoughts expressed over a long career. This collection features essays and addresses that I couldn't bring myself to discard, reflecting my enduring interests: poetry, painting, teaching, and the perplexing human condition in an incomprehensible universe. I release these writings like flotsam on the shore, hoping they might spark interest among those grappling with significant life questions.
