Rick and nine fellow survivors of a plane crash during a volcanic eruption are rescued and taken to a safe facility. The survivor's initial gratitude is lost when they are informed that they are in an angel's work station and will not be allowed to return to Earth. As they discover the many wonders of the station, including those that would cure all human disease and death, some of the survivors come to see the angels as sadistic aliens that delight only in the suffering of humans. Rick fights to protect the angels and the work station from destruction by his fellow survivors, but will it be enough?
