Christina Lyon was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and grew up in southern England. Her father, a brilliant concert pianist of Polish descent whose mysterious past left him hardened and embittered, caused Christina to flee home as a young woman.Years later, upon his death Christina’s father bequeathed to her his secret journals, a compilation of scratched diary entries and memoirs disclosing the details of his past as a spy in postwar Poland.
