This is my truth. After receiving a diagnosis of late stage cancer I was flooded with a burning desire to create goodness from the scary journey I endured. I decided to write a memoir in the hope that my experience would help others. The story-line within this book is beautiful and touching. It isn't just a book about cancer, it uncovers what life is truly about. We should never underestimate the power of love and friendship, this was the key to happiness when my life was on the line. Each book sold donates £3 to charity. So far 351 books have flown the nest which has raised over £1,000 for a mixture of cancer charities. The e-book also donates £3 from every downloaded. The start of this book is informative and heartfelt, I opened my dropped my guard to create a rich memoir. It is a story of total transparency, strength and honesty. My hope is that the book will offer friendship and maybe even comfort to a reader. It exists to inspire, tell a fabulous story and donate money to worthy causes. As I traveled the journey- I discovered nuggets of gold. A radiotherapy session unveiled a very cherished friendship which was intense. Treatment was successful for me but not for my darling friend. This was the most bittersweet pill to swallow. The story offers glitter too. When health returned magical events unfolded. It's most certainly an eventful read which is full of surprises.
