When the Germans learned about Camp X, a training camp for spies just outside Toronto, they came up with aa clever idea in this novel -- infiltrate the camp, get access to all the codes and meet the spies being trained at Camp X. Whatever he thought before entering the field, Klaus Holzer. the main character in the novel, suddenly finds himself as a double agent, juggling assignments for the Germans and the Allies, and to complicate matters he runs afoul of the Gestapo from the start until the end of the war.
