Essie makes the decision to venture out in pursuit of vengeance and justice following the death of her family by a group of thugs in the sparsely populated prairie of Idaho. She enlists Colorado, the son of the sheriff, along with Joe and Tucker, their two closest friends, to assist her on her adventure.
