The research examined the problem of sabotage in the petroleum industry in Nigeria and how it has impacted negatively on the Nigerian oil and gas sector, the oil companies, the government and the people, and also the attitudes of courts to sabotage cases. This book will contribute to the growing jurisprudence in the area of sabotage in the Nigerian petroleum industry. The book will also serve as basis for further studies in this aspect of the Nigerian law. It is expected that this research will be a source of information for oil companies, inhabitants of oil producing areas, government and stakeholders in the petroleum industry on some salient areas of the law as it relates to sabotage, compensation and oil production activities.
