En savoir plus sur le livre

From time immemorial, our ancestors maintained a direct relationship with nature and Earth, experiencing a profound connection with the universe and all living beings. Illness, personal challenges, and natural disasters were seen as signs of disturbances in individual or social equilibrium, reflecting the relationship with the Gods, spirits, and ancestors. Individuals gifted with spiritual insight could sense these disruptions and guide the restoration of balance. Over millennia, they developed systems of rituals, practices, and healing processes known as “Shamanism.” By accessing ecstatic trance states, shamans explore deeper levels of consciousness to heal and address communal issues. They fulfill numerous roles in tribal communities, acting as healers, priests, psychologists, therapists, advisers, and artists. As intermediaries to the Divine, they employ various practices, often supported by rhythms and singing, to access spiritual realms. In ecstasy, they embark on journeys into hidden realities and parallel worlds, typically revealed through myths and dreams. In these timeless states, they can perceive echoes of the past and glimpses of future developments.
