The book presents over 600 cases of ice falls worldwide, compiled from various languages. Contrary to popular belief, these ice blocks can be any color—blue, green, yellowish, rusty, muddy, ash, white, dirty, or even colorless. They pose significant hazards to lives and property on the ground, yet incidents are often misattributed to weather, leading to a lack of preventive measures. Most cases are aviation-related, suggesting that with proper precautions, the frequency of these incidents could be reduced. This work marks the first comprehensive exploration of ice falls from an aviation expert, who has conducted thorough research, considering various aeronautical factors and relevant statistics. The insights aim to raise awareness and encourage airlines and regulatory authorities to implement necessary safety measures.
