A retirement home is a unique society composed of a mixed bag of, usually elderly, human beings, who may, or may not, have chosen to live together under the same roof, and, many of whom, if they had their druthers, would not have chosen to ever be in such a place at all. In North America, where aging is generally viewed as a deterioration of beauty, rather than as an accumulation of wisdom, they often consider this all rather a raw deal. Glimpses: Sundown Manor gives you a "glimpse" into the lives of some of these people, and provides a light-hearted peek at how it is possible for such a diverse group of personalities to gradually become a "family".
