Separated from his own species as a hatchling iguanodon and raised by a clan of lemurs, Aladar's life is plunged into chaos when a meteor shower destroys most of life on Earth. Aladar and the lemurs join a group of migrating dinosaurs searching for a safe nesting ground. As they struggle to survive and fight off a bully named Kron, Aladar attempts to show the herd that adaptability can be the best path toward survival.
