Rhapsody is a high fantasy novel that draws inspiration from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Eddings's Belgariad, featuring an elf-like race, cannibalistic giants, fire-born demons, and dragons. Rhapsody inadvertently renames the Brother Achmed the Snake, breaking his enslavement to Tsoltan the F'dor, a fire-born demon. As they escape into the roots of the World Tree, Sagia, they find themselves transformed and question whether they have truly evaded Tsoltan's evil.
