En savoir plus sur le livre
This book was withdrawn from publication in January 2015 after Alex Malarkey admitted to fabricating his entire experience. In an open letter, he stated, "I did not die. I did not go to Heaven. [...] I said I went to heaven because I thought it would get me attention." The publisher, Tyndale, expressed sadness over this revelation and decided to take the book out of print. In 2004, Kevin Malarkey and his six-year-old son, Alex, were involved in a horrific car accident that left Alex paralyzed, with little hope of survival. A friend told Kevin, "I think Alex has gone to be with Jesus." Miraculously, two months later, Alex awoke from a coma, claiming to have an incredible story about events during his unconsciousness. He recounted experiences at the accident scene and in the hospital, describing angels guiding him through the gates of heaven and the "terrible" music he heard. Most astonishingly, he claimed to have met and talked to Jesus. This narrative presents an ordinary boy's extraordinary journey, offering insights into miracles, life beyond this world, and the profound bond between father and son.
