Neuroprotective strategies for early intervention in acute ischaemic stroke

Supplement Cerebrovascular Diseases 1997, Vol. 7, Suppl. 2 Recent advances in neuroprotective approaches for the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke have led to a consensus among leading experts about the necessity of treating stroke as a medical emergency.
