The PROFES Organizing Committee is pleased to present the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Product-Focused Software Process Improvement (PROFES 2010) held in Limerick, Ireland. Since its inception in 1999, this conference has become a respected event in the software engineering community, uniting participants from both academia and industry. PROFES focuses on professional software process improvement driven by the need for quality in products and services. It addresses practical solutions alongside relevant academic research. To maintain high standards and relevance, the conference collaborates closely with industry and has expanded its scope to include collaborative and agile software development. This year's main themes were “Agile and Lean Processes” and “Engineering Service-Oriented Systems,” which allowed for a thorough exploration of contemporary software development demands and trends. The conference tackled significant challenges identified by both the software industry and research community, particularly the shift from a focus on "products" to "services." The technical program included invited talks, research papers, and experience reports on key topics related to developing software-intensive services and products, along with various workshops and tutorials.
