This book explores RFID applications within the Internet of Things, focusing on emerging technologies for tag search, anonymous RFID authentication, and networked tag identification. It introduces a new technique called filtering vector, a compact data structure that encodes tag IDs, enabling efficient tag filtration to meet real-world delay requirements. A novel iterative tag search protocol is also designed, enhancing search accuracy and reducing iteration time by leveraging information from previous attempts. This protocol is adaptable to noisy channels.
