The Happy Hypocrite

George Hell's life of indulgence and superficiality is upended when he falls for a dancer named Jenny, who rejects him for lacking a virtuous appearance. In a desperate attempt to win her over, he adopts the identity of George Heaven by wearing a saint's mask. As their relationship develops, he begins to transform into a better person, aided by Jenny's love. However, his past lover, La Gambogi, threatens to reveal his deception, challenging George to confront his true self and the consequences of his choices.
