Set in a dystopian world under a tyrannical regime, the story follows Armo Torndale, a senior officer who begins to question his loyalty after witnessing the brutal murder of an innocent woman. Disillusioned by the oppression around him, he abandons his privileged life to lead a group of freedom seekers on a perilous journey. Their only hope lies in reaching a mountaintop to await rescue from the Danori, an alien race. As they face dire hardships and dwindling supplies, the tyrant dispatches commandos to eliminate them, intensifying their struggle for survival.
