Set in a French duchy, the narrative follows Rosalind, who is banished from court and escapes to the Forest of Arden with her friend Celia and the court fool, Touchstone. Orlando, mistreated by his brother, also flees to the forest. In this refuge, the old Duke gathers exiled supporters, including the brooding Jaques. Rosalind, disguised as Ganymede, navigates the complexities of love by advising Orlando, who expresses his affection through poetry, and the shepherds Silvius and Phebe, creating a rich tapestry of romance and identity.
