This book was cobbled together from three essays written before this volume's conception, comprising its three sections: The conflict between the philosophy faculty & the (1) theology [7:17-25], (2) law [7:79-94] & (3) medical [7:97-116] faculties. This third essay was also published separately (Cf. Power of the Mind).
